Programme Facilitator (Part-Time)

We are currently seeking dynamic, energetic, motivated, responsible, and committed individuals who can facilitate our after-school Algo Club programme at locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). We are especially looking for individuals who would like to work in Toronto.

Ideal candidates must:

  • hold a college diploma or bachelor’s degree, or be enrolled in a degree programme
  • have experience working with elementary school children
  • have passion for sharing the joy of learning math
  • have interest in mathematics education
  • have a desire to learn the Algo Club method of teaching mathematics and be willing to participate in intensive training in these methods
  • have great leadership skills
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • be available during the after-school programme hours (typically 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., depending on location)
  • have a reliable mode of transportation

*Applicants with a teaching certificate in Primary/Junior divisions or elementary education are preferred.
