Mission Statement
Plus223 Education operates under these beliefs:

- Everyone can learn and achieve in mathematics.
- Anyone can overcome a fear of mathematics.
- Curiosity about and interest in math can be cultivated in young children.
- Student engagement in interesting activities results in learning and motivation.
As a result of these beliefs, our mission is to deliver an engaging mathematics-oriented after-school programme to elementary school students. We deliver two different programmes; our Primary Programme focuses on children in Grades 1 through 3 while our Junior Programme works with students in Grades 4 through 6. We strive to help children develop their thinking, reasoning, analytical, and communication skills through fun, engaging, intellectually stimulating games and puzzles uniquely designed by Algo Club Japan.
Through providing positive learning experiences in math, we lead students to the realization that mathematics is, in fact, fun. Our ratio of facilitators to students is an integral element in ensuring student success. Our approach is to encourage the development of mathematical thinking, reasoning and analytical, and communication skills by approaching mathematics differently. All learners have a great time, and sometimes do not even realize they are learning math!
The formative years are among the most important in life, as connections in the brain facilitate learning quickly during this time. Therefore, it is important to make the most of the developmental years in order to maximize every child’s potential in later life. We are confident that the techniques in the Algo Club curriculum will improve the cognitive development of all of our students. Many of these teaching methods have been successfully implementend with results in Japan for many years.
